Terms of Service
What this covers
These terms govern your use of the AI Readiness Snapshot service, including the request form on this site and the resulting PDF Snapshot shown on the page where you submitted the form. The service is operated by Project Baseline. Walker-Miller Energy Services and the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program are referenced on this site as ecosystem partners for the contractor audience, not as parties to these terms.
By submitting the form, you accept these terms.
The Snapshot is free. No payment, no commitment.
The AI Readiness Snapshot is a free offering for energy efficiency contractors. There is no cost, no subscription, no auto-billing, no follow-up sales sequence. You give us your business information, we give you a Snapshot. That is the entire transaction.
The Snapshot is a preview of the full Project Baseline AI Readiness Assessment, which is a separate paid engagement. Engagement of the full Assessment is entirely optional and is a separate agreement.
What the Snapshot is, and is not
What it is: a personalized, AI-generated readiness analysis built from the information you submit. It includes workflow mapping for AI tools, a tool stack matched to your trade, a funding map of small business grants and capital pipelines, and a 90-day action plan.
What it is not:
- Not legal, tax, financial, or business strategy advice.
- Not a guarantee that any grant funder, lender, or program will approve your application.
- Not a substitute for a full AI Readiness Assessment engagement with a consultant who knows your business in depth.
- Not an official endorsement by Walker-Miller Energy Services, Ameren Illinois, the Market Development Initiative, or any funder mentioned.
- Not a program eligibility determination. Program participation and certification status are determined by Walker-Miller Energy Services and Ameren Illinois, not by Project Baseline.
The Snapshot should be treated as a starting point. Verify deadlines, eligibility criteria, and application requirements directly with each funder, program, and tool vendor before you act.
Accuracy and limitations
The Snapshot is generated by an AI model combined with Project Baseline's curated knowledge of the energy efficiency contractor sector and the small business funding market. It is accurate enough to be useful and specific enough to act on, but it is not infallible. Funder priorities change. Deadlines shift. AI tools evolve and pricing changes. Specific tools or grant programs mentioned may or may not be actively available in your category at the time you act.
We do our best to ensure recommendations are real and plausible, but we do not warrant that every tool or grant program named is currently open, available, or a guaranteed match. Verify everything directly with the source.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the form and the Snapshot for legitimate business purposes. You agree not to:
- Submit information you do not have the authority to submit on behalf of the business named.
- Use the service to generate Snapshots for businesses that do not exist or that you have no relationship to.
- Resell, redistribute, or repurpose the Snapshot as your own work product for paid clients.
- Reverse-engineer or scrape the underlying AI generation system.
Intellectual property
The Snapshot content is generated for your business and you are free to use it for your operations, including applying to grants mentioned, evaluating tools recommended, sharing the Snapshot with your team, and adapting the action plan internally.
The Project Baseline name, the Walker-Miller Energy Services name, the Ameren Illinois name, and associated logos belong to their respective owners. You do not acquire any rights to those marks by receiving a Snapshot.
No warranty
The service is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce specific business outcomes. We do not warrant that any tool or funder mentioned in your Snapshot will respond to or work for your business. Outcomes depend on many factors outside the Snapshot's scope, including how you implement the recommendations, your local market conditions, and the quality of your applications.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Project Baseline and its principals are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the Snapshot. This includes lost funding opportunities, time spent evaluating mismatched tools, or business decisions made based on Snapshot content. Your responsibility is to verify and act with judgment. Walker-Miller Energy Services and Ameren Illinois are not parties to these terms and have no liability under this Snapshot service.
Privacy
How we handle your data is covered in the separate Privacy Policy. The short version: we use your data to generate your Snapshot, we show it to you on the page where you submitted the form, we do not sell or share it, we do not train AI on it, and we do not share it with program partners unless you explicitly ask us to.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we update the "Last updated" date and post the new version. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts of the State of Illinois.
